Phoenix Public Market Cafe

What was formally the location to a locally owned farmers market is now also home to Downtown’s own Phoenix Public Market Café. Locals and tourists alike come to grab a delicious kickin’ cold brew, scratch made macaroons, rich to taste vegetables and locally brewed beer all while staying true to their healthy lifestyle.

Phoenix Public Market Café

– Dinner at PPM Café –

When it comes to a health conscious yet delightful dinner, Phoenix Public Market Café is the place that you have been looking for! Bring a friend and enjoy not lifting a finger while the mastered chefs prepare you both a fresh market fare crafted with seasonal ingredients from the Open Air Market.

This chic modern eatery is spacious yet cozy with wooden tables of all sizes surrounded by bright urban decor. The Café makes it easy to order with health-friendly menu items including an array of breakfast, lunch, dinner, bakery and dessert options catering to those with food allergies and/or preferences.

The owner and head Chef, Aaron Chamberlin, takes pride in building the community through food. His passion for fresh, locally grown and produced ingredients allows his food to speak for itself. Here at PPM Café you’ll find casual, simple dishes such as their most popular staple, Eat the Rainbow; lush mixed greens lay beneath a variety of seasonal farm to table vegetables and served with a side of three delectable dipping sauces – you’ll always be pleasantly surprised when ordering this dish.

For a more savory entree get the AZ Burger served with daily house-made patties, melted cheddar cheese, sliced lettuce, house made dressing and farm fresh green chiles. This is truly a house favorite!

Upon ordering your delicious dish take a seat at the community table or sit along side the Café’s beaming, beautiful full length windows for a view of the Downtown scenery. A seat at the bar is always open, too. From a ‘morning cup’ to an ‘evening sip’, the bar serves your favorite Cartel coffee creations, house made juices, hand crafted cocktails, wines and locally brewed beers.

The Café offers made from scratch pastries, cakes and breads – here are the must have dessert items on your list:

– French Macarons – choose from PPM Café’s staple flavors; salted caramel and hazelnut. Or try their sweet seasonal flavors such as the Banana Split with chocolate buttercream, sprinkles and a hint of sliced banana.

– Café Sundae – organic vanilla soft serve drizzled with prickly pair caramel, almond butter cookie crumbs, Arizona honeycomb and topped off with a Yum cookie!

– In the Know –

Along with seasonal pastries, the Café offers seasonal lemonade creations such as Blueberry Ginger – each featuring fresh fruits from the Phoenix Public Open-Air Market.

Indulge in a 4-6PM daily Happy Hour including $5 pitchers of the Café’s very own Phoenix Market Light Lager, cocktail specials and a variety of entrees guaranteed to satisfy. With a whole meal and drinks for under $20, Phoenix Public Market Café is an unexpected hit!

While creating a ‘place to call home’, PPM Café invites you to join them every Sunday and Monday evening from 5PM to close for a delicious 3-course dinner for $12.99.

ASU Students receive 20% off their entire bill at the Café.

PPM Café continues to take pride in their community by participates in many local events such as the Urban Ale Trail, San Tan Brewery Four Course Beer Dinner, and more!

Find out more details about future events on their Facebook Page.

There is metered parking in downtown Phoenix, though I would highly recommend trying the cafe’s free parking lot.
